How can I sign up to receive transaction alerts for my MBNA credit card?

Login to MBNA Online Banking or the MBNA mobile app to update your transaction alert settings. Follow the steps below to update  your alert preferences (email/text and amount) at any time.

  • Visit the 'My Profile' or 'Account Services' tab in Online Banking and click 'Manage your MBNA alert notification settings' under the 'My MBNA Alerts' heading. Or select your account in the MBNA Mobile app and click 'My MBNA Alerts' under the 'More Accounts Options' menu.
  • Use the pencil icon to add or edit your email address under 'Personal Information' to receive transaction alerts via email, and/or your mobile phone number to receive transaction alerts by text.
  • Use the pencil icon to add or edit the 'Notify me about transactions over my set amount' field to set your transaction amount. You'll receive alerts when a transaction on your credit card meets or exceeds your set amount. If you'd like to get alerts for all transactions, please enter $0 as your set amount.
  • Click the 'Save' button to save any changes you've made to your MBNA Alert notification settings.
