Toronto-Dominion Bank. For the most part, it is business as usual. We will still be known as MBNA and you will continue to do business with us just as you do today.

MBNA is now a division of The Toronto-Dominion Bank but there are no plans to change the MBNA name at this time. You will still see the MBNA name on your credit card statement and other day-to-day MBNA MasterCard account documents.

Will there be any changes to my current MBNA MasterCard credit card account or to my MBNA MasterCard account agreement?
At this time, there will be no immediate changes to your MBNA MasterCard credit card account and the current terms of your MBNA MasterCard account agreement remain unchanged and in full effect. Your credit card account stays the same at this time and there is nothing different that you need to do.
There are no plans to replace your MBNA MasterCard credit card with a TD Visa card. You can continue to use your current MBNA MasterCard credit card and manage your credit card account just as you do today.
No. All benefits, exclusions and limitations for any insurance coverage offered by MBNA that are included with your credit card account have not changed. Also, any credit monitoring and identity theft services and/or credit insurance programs that you are enrolled in will not be interrupted and coverage will continue to be provided by the underwriter or service provider of each product.
Your monthly MBNA MasterCard credit card statement will look the same as it does now and you will receive it the same way you do today. Over time, you may start to see references to MBNA as a division of The Toronto-Dominion Bank in some places on your MBNA MasterCard credit card statement and other credit card account documents, to provide a full legal description of the issuer of the MBNA MasterCard credit card. Other than that, everything else will look the same!

At this time, you will not be able to change your MBNA MasterCard credit card PIN at a TD Canada Trust branch. But changing your credit card PIN is easy. Simply call 1-866-712-8098 or go online at www.mbna.ca.
At this time, your MBNA MasterCard credit card still cannot be used in Cuba.
There will be no change to the reward points you’ve accumulated with your MBNA MasterCard credit card. They will remain in your points total and you will be able to redeem your rewards as you always have.
Your TD Visa card and MBNA MasterCard credit card are completely separate cards, with different rates, terms, and conditions which remain in effect and cannot be combined between cards.
Does my MBNA MasterCard credit card account still have the same payment due date?
Yes. Your payment due date will continue to be the same as currently shown on your monthly MBNA MasterCard credit card account statement.
You should make your regularly scheduled MBNA MasterCard credit card payments to MBNA just as you do today. For your convenience, all current methods of payment will continue, so feel free to make your credit card payment the same way you always have. And if you have online access to your credit card account, continue to log in at www.mbna.ca.
At this time, your MBNA MasterCard account information will not be available through TD Internet banking, telephone banking, ATM or through a branch, so you should continue to obtain information about your MBNA MasterCard credit card account in the same manner as you have in the past. If you have a TD bank account and you currently make your MBNA MasterCard bill payments through TD EasyWeb Internet banking, you can certainly continue to do so.
Yes, your automatic PADS payments will continue without interruption.
Yes, that change will occur in February 2012. The decision to change how payments are applied was made before MBNA became part of TD Bank Group.
Will MBNA’s website address change?
No need to update your favorites! MBNA’s website address will remain www.mbna.ca and you can continue to access your MBNA Online Banking account information just as you do today.
As a security measure, you should know that TD and MBNA never use email to request personal account information. Therefore, for your protection, we recommend that you do not follow any links in such emails or provide any personal account information to anyone.
